Citywide Poet Finds Her Place in "The History of the Word"
Dayna Reid, a Citywide Poet who attends Old Redford Academy, has been selected to perform as part of the
History of the Word, a theatrical production taking place on February 16, 2008 at the Music Hall Center for Performing Arts. She was selected from about 25 youth poets who each read 2-3 poems during a November audition. As a winner, one of her poems will be featured in the performance, and Dayna will also perform before the show.
